The manga is incredibly rough and I recommend it as much as I do any of Kouta Hirano’s written works: I don’t. Having said that, the PV in combination with the story I’ve read so far indicates we’re all in for a sure spectacle. When you get to Joan of Arc, if your genitals ain’t stimulating themselves, either you never had them in the first place or you’re dead.
All ya need to know about Drifters is that it thrives on style. Somehow it has far less substance than even the Fate/ series it is blatantly ripping off. So if you care about characterization or plot, don’t even bother. But if ya trash your brain every night anyway… absolutely go for it. Fun is the name of the game.

I mean, let’s be serious here — Motete ain’t much more than a reverse harem that stars a creepy fujo. But goddammit, I love shoujo, and this is one of the better ones I’ve read (note I haven’t read all that much of it).
As far as the anime goes… Well, Brain’s Base is Brain’s Base. Expect the budget focus to take away from the loving detail that was present in the manga.
